GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Just in time for President’s Day, the Langenheim Memorial Library at Thiel College is displaying a number of signed, presidential photographs from the college’s archives. The display is located in the library and is free and open to the public.
The display includes autographed photographs of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Richard M. Nixon, Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush (with his wife, Laura).
Also included in the displays are photographs of Congressman Carroll D. Kearns, who represented Greenville in Congress from 1947 until 1963. Kearns also was on the Thiel Board of Trustees from 1959 to 1968. The Eisenhower and Kennedy photographs came to Thiel as a part of Representative Kearns’ personal papers.
