GREENVILLE, Pa.-- The Thiel College Office of Admission has named Alexander Kovalyak ’24 and Makenna Oswalt ’26 its Thiel Team Members of the Month for March.
Kovalyak is a senior biology major from DuBois, Pa. His focus is pre-optometry and he has minors in biochemistry and medical biology. He is a member of the Dietrich Honors Institute, Kappa Mu Epsilon mathematics honor society, and the football team. He is the president of Tri-Beta biology honor society.
He said his favorite thing about Thiel is “the professors, faculty, and the students that make campus feel like home.”
Oswalt is a sophomore English and business administration double major from Johnstown, Pa.
She is a member of Sigma Kappa sorority, Sigma Tau Delta English honor society, Dietrich Honors Institute and the softball team.
Her favorite thing about Thiel is “the small family environment along with the relationship I have with my professors.”
The Thiel Team comprises students employed by the Office of Admission. The students primarily serve as ambassadors for prospective students and their families, but they are also responsible for a variety of other jobs and including work on mailings, market research, telemarketing, event support, and other administrative, professional, and office duties.
