Strausbaugh earns Trustee Emeritus status at Thiel College

GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Dr. M. Roy Strausbaugh was named a trustee emeritus to the Thiel College Board of Trustees after the board’s February meeting.

Strausbaugh, who has been a member of the Thiel Board of Trustees since 2000, is a visiting professor of history at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa., and is a former dean and professor emeritus at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Rosanna, live in Erie. Strausbaugh served as Thiel’s board chair from 2007 to 2011.

The Board of Trustees at Thiel College is responsible for the oversight of the college, adopting rules, regulations and policies governing Thiel and exercising authority over curricular development, use of property, development of facilities and fiscal and human resources management.
