Senior biology major named November Thiel Team Member of the Month

GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Sydney Turner ’21, of Chicora, Pa., was named the Office of Admission Thiel Team Member of the Month for November.

Turner is pursuing a major in biology and a minor in psychology. She is a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority, the National Society of Leadership and Success, Thiel Student Support Network, Tri Beta biology honorary society, and Lambda Sigma honorary society for sophomores.

“Thiel creates a sense of belonging from the moment that you step on campus, and it quickly becomes your home,” Turner said. “The professors, faculty, and students form our own small community, and that really gives students a place to grow and become the best they can be once they get here.”

The Thiel Team comprises students employed by the Office of Admission. The students primarily serve as ambassadors for prospective students and their families, but they are also responsible for a variety of other jobs and including work on mailings, market research, telemarketing, event support, and other administrative, professional, and office duties.
