Sanzari addition strengthens Career Development Center staff

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College announces the addition of Kelly Sanzari ’13 to the Career Development Center staff as a career counselor. She joined the staff July 1 and will work with Associate Dean of Career Development Martin Black on strengthening the Career Center’s programs, growing internship opportunities for students and increasing post-graduation career placement for alumni.

“Kelly’s own very positive experiences as a student at Thiel provide her with unique insights into our current students’ strengths and needs. I couldn’t be happier with our success in confirming her as an addition to the career center team,” Black said. “She will be a key part of the Career Development Center’s mission to provide top-tier services to students, alumni and employers. If her first days with us are any indication, Kelly will prove to be a stellar advocate for all three of our client groups.”

Sanzari graduated from Thiel College in 2013 with a B.A. in business administration and has an M.A. from Slippery Rock in student affairs in higher education. She has worked in higher education, holding positions in the offices of Admission and College Advancement at Thiel College, graduate admissions at Slippery Rock University and campus life at Edinboro University.

She will work with Black on Thiel’s four-year blueprint, which is a personalized plan that takes students from the first to fourth year on campus with dedicated and goal-specific career counseling. For more information on the Career Development Center, visit their section of the website.
