New and familiar faces added for upcoming Thiel College Board of Trustees meeting

GREENVILLE, Pa.--
The Thiel College Board of Trustees first meeting of 2019 will bring together all its newest members. The board appointed three members in the last meeting of 2018 and will install a returning member to the board at its February meeting.
Former members Mark Benninghoff ’82 and John Frangakis are joined by new members Jim Kick ’82 and Nate Neely ’94. Benninghoff, Kick and Neely were appointed in November, and Frangakis will be installed at the February meeting.
- Benninghoff, of Pittsburgh, is a health care executive in physician practice management and a Director in the Revenue Cycle Solutions practice. Benninghoff graduated from Thiel College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and business administration and received his Master of Business Administration from Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at The University of Pittsburgh. He was previously an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Bennninghoff is a returning member. He served the board previously from 2006-2015.
- Kick, of Charlotte N.C., is the vice president preconstruction of Century Contractors, Inc. Kick graduated from Thiel College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration. He is a member of the Carolinas Association of General Contractors, Carolinas Association of Builders and Contractors, and Carolina American Subcontractors Association. Kick previously served positions with BE&K Building Group of Charlotte, N.C. and Pierce Associations, Inc. of Alexandria, Va.
- Neely, of Oil City, Pa., is the chief executive officer and owner of Pathways Adolescent Center, a group home for at-risk youth. Neely graduated from Thiel College in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in political sciences. He also serves on the Northwest Savings Bank Board of Directors, the Phi Theta Phi Alumni Board of Directors, and as an assistant coach for the Oil City High School football team. Neely previously held a position on the Oil City YMCA Board of Directors.
- Frangakis served as the Thiel College chair of the Presidential Search Committee in 2016 and former vice chair of the Board of Trustees. In 2014, he was awarded the Haller Enterprise Institute Entrepreneur of the Year Award while in his role as the chairman and chief executive officer of Reynolds Services, Inc. He will be awarded an honorary degree at Thiel College’s Academic Honors Convocation on Feb 8.
