GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College fraternity Kappa Sigma recognized the sacrifices of veterans with a 21-gun salute on Monday as part of the organization’s Military Heroes Week.
Members of Greenville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3374 conducted the 21-gun salute honoring military service members in the flag courtyard outside of Roth Memorial Hall.
The Xi-Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Sigma’s Military Heroes Appreciation Week also includes other events.Donations and the public are welcome at all events.
About Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign
Kappa Sigma established A Greater Cause Foundation to support the charitable endeavors of the undergraduate chapters of the fraternity. The foundation’s principal program is the Military Heroes Campaign.
Created in 2007, the campaign honors and aids thousands of military veterans and their families in communities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Since its inception, the campaign has donated nearly $500,000 to non-profit organizations who advocate on behalf of servicemen and women and those wounded in combat.
