GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Hundreds of students and representatives from 75 colleges, universities, trade schools, businesses, career centers, and military branches are set to attend the Mercer County Guidance Counselors Association College Fair at Thiel College in the Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia from 9–11 a.m. on Thursday, October 5.
All Mercer County High Schools are invited to bring their junior and senior students to the fair, which is also free and open to the public. Representatives will distribute materials and talk with students and other interested members of the community about colleges and career choices.
Recruiters from the U.S. Air Force, Army Marines, Navy and National Guard will be participating. Members of the Penn-Northwest Development Corporation will also be on hand as well as representatives from UPMC Horizon, UPMC Jameson School of Radiography, UPMC Schools of Nursing, Pittsburgh Job Corps Center and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency will be in attendance, too.
