First responders to be recognized during Thiel football game for Patriot Day celebration

GREENVILLE, Pa.-- The Thiel College community will honor first responders at the home opening football game at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 as part of the school’s celebration of Patriot Day.

Military Veterans along with police officers, firefighters, ambulance services, paramedics, EMTs, doctors, nurses, and other personnel who protect and serve this region, along with their families, are welcome to the football game with free admission and parking. Medical and emergency personnel and first responders will be honored at halftime. First responders are also invited to stop by the President’s Box to be recognized by Thiel College President Susan Traverso, Ph.D. can thank them for their service.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. as Thiel College takes on Allegheny College.

All first responders will need a valid ID for free admission.
