Alumna returns to Thiel College as Director of Campus Health & Wellness Services

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College welcomed back new Director of Campus Health and Wellness Services Christine Cianci ’96 at the start of the 2020-2021 academic year.

Previously, Cianci was employed as the Director of Health Services on campus from 2014-2018. Prior to working with the College, she was Certified School Nurse at Keystone Charter School from 2008-2014 and Greenville Area School District from 2000-2008.  She has been employed most recently as a Nurse Practitioner at UPMC Urgent Care, Franklin, Pa.

The Massillon, Ohio native graduated from Thiel College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. In 2007, Cianci continued her education at California University of Pa. earning a master’s degree in exercise science. She then pursued a master’s degree in nursing from Walden University and became a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.

Thiel College opened a new Health Center on the ground floor of the Howard Miller Student Center. The expanded facility includes examination rooms, a waiting area and offices. Both counseling and health services are available in the space.
