GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Danielle (Kaizer) Bonura ’09 was crowned Mrs. Pennsylvania International last weekend at a pageant at The Casino at Lakemont Park in Altoona, Pa.
Bonura graduated with bachelor’s degrees in business administration and international business. She made her first appearance Wednesday as Mrs. Pennsylvania International discussing her support of maternal mental health, raising awareness around issues of postpartum depression and anxiety and her support of state legislation that would increase early intervention services offered to families experiencing postpartum mood and anxiety disorder.
According to their website, the focus behind Mrs. International is to showcase women 21 to 56 years old and married at least six months. Each contestant has the opportunity to select a platform of her choice that she spends the year promoting. Husbands are a direct part of the show, escorting their wives in the Evening Gown competition, and the husband crowns his wife as our new titleholder.
