Any student receiving a full-tuition award is not eligible for other institutional gift aid. Institutional scholarships may vary by year. For information on a specific graduating class, refer to the relative freshmen catalog.
Thiel has numerous awards supported by endowed funds established by the gift of a principal sum to the College. The Financial Aid office coordinates the awarding of these various awards, grants and scholarships to currently enrolled students based on the criteria specified by the donor. Thiel College Scholarship
Scholarships are available from Thiel College, based on high school GPA. Transfer student scholarships are based on their previous college's GPA.
David E. Baughman Scholarship | Freshmen | Renewable
The David E. Baughman Scholarship supports students who have graduated from Jamestown, Greenville, Commodore Perry or Reynolds high schools and who have been accepted into a four-year program at Thiel College.
Carl and Ella Busch Scholarship | Freshmen | Renewable
The Carl and Ella Busch Scholarship supports students who are residents of Mercer County, Pa., have at least a 3.0 GPA and have graduated from Farrell, Grove City, Hickory, Kennedy Catholic, Lakeview, Mercer, Sharon, Sharpsville or West Middlesex high schools.

The family funded scholarship established a fund administered by Thiel College to be awarded annually to at least two full-time Thiel College students who fulfill the following requirements:
Marion G. Resch Science Scholarship at Thiel College | Freshmen | Renewable
This scholarship provides partial tuition funds, which are exclusively intended to alleviate out-of-pocket (cash and loans) tuition needs of newly enrolling undergraduate students who have completed their high school education at an academically-oriented high school in Mahoning, Columbiana or Trumbull County, Ohio within the last six months, prior to their first freshman semester. Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Academic Honors Scholarship | Transfer | Renewable
Transfer students who are PTK members may qualify for an annual award of $2,000.
Powers Higher Education Trust | Freshmen | Renewable
Awarded to an Ohio resident from Mahoning and Trumbull Counties who is in the upper half of their high school graduating class.
