ATTEND & ASSIST is a student support committee dedicated to tracking and addressing issues related to attendance, class engagement, and other non-emergency concerns. The committee also partners with faculty and staff to follow up on students of concern, ensuring timely interventions that promote a supportive academic and/or co-curricular environment.
ATTEND
Maintaining weekly attendance in Moodle is essential for monitoring student engagement and supporting student success. By keeping accurate records, the committee can quickly identify students who may need additional support. Attendance is reviewed weekly during both the fall and spring semesters to ensure early detection and prompt intervention.
ASSIST
The ASSIST Form is used to report student concerns beyond excessive absences, including academic challenges, personal struggles, or other factors that might affect student success. Early identification of these issues enables the committee to provide targeted support and appropriate resources.
