GREENVILLE, Pa.-- The Thiel College Office of Admissions will be hosting an Instant Decision Day beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.
Prospective students can fill out an application online or when they arrive at Thiel. Students also need to bring their high school transcripts and SAT or ACT scores to the event. While they tour campus and meet with members of the faculty and staff, their admissions package will be reviewed and they will receive a decision before the day is over. A tailgate will be held following the event and before the home football game at 7 p.m.
While visiting, guests will talk with Thiel students and faculty about areas of interest and scholarship opportunities. A campus tour will showcase academic buildings, including the new Haer Family Science and Arts Connector and the modern James Pedas Communication Center and residence halls.
All events are free.
“Our Instant Decision is a great opportunity for high school students to meet faculty members and learn about Thiel College’s majors and programs including the new master’s degree program in speech-language pathology and one of the top environmental safety management programs in the state,” Vice President for Enrollment Management Ashley Josay Zullo said. “These new programs along with the strong lineup of traditional programs makes Thiel College one of the most attractive higher education options in western Pennsylvania.”
An Environmental Safety Management Visit Day is Monday, Oct. 14. This special visit day will show how Thiel College’s program—one of just two in Pennsylvania recognized by both of the industry’s top review and audit boards—can open doors to a lucrative position in the field. Additional academic departments will be featured on Oct. 14, too.
Thiel College will hold its Fall Open house Saturday, Oct. 19.
Check Thiel College’s website for information on private tours or Twilight Tours, which are held in the evening during the week to accommodate students who might not be available during the day.
