Thiel College Music Department to present spring choral concert, ‘To Life!’

GREENVILLE, Pa.—The Thiel College Music Department will present its annual spring choral concert, To Life!, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in the David Johnson Memorial Chapel on the College’s campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The performance will feature the Thiel Choir, Thiel Singers, and Thiel Chorale. The program includes works by John Stainer, Morten Lauridsen, Stephen Schwartz, and Elton John with lyrics by Tim Rice, among others.

Jacob Hoffman ’28, a first-year student at Thiel College, will accompany the choir on some, sing during the a cappella pieces, and will play a solo for the free will offering.

The concert will showcase a range of musical styles and highlight the talents of student vocalists and musicians participating in the College’s choral ensembles.
