GREENVILLE, Pa.—The members of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at Thiel College are wearing high heels and standing at the intersection of routes 18 and 58 to collect donations for a Mercer County domestic shelter this week.
The fraternity is participating in its “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” fundraiser. Proceeds from their fundraising will be donated to AWARE, Inc., the Mercer County domestic and sexual violence victims agency.
The members are collecting money along College Avenue and will continue their collection in the same location from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day this week.
