GREENVILLE, Pa.—The Thiel College Office of Admission has released that they will be featuring nine events throughout the fall semester that allow prospective students and their families to tour the College, while also getting a unique experience and a chance to win full-tuition scholarships.
New to this year’s event schedule is the Lantern Tour, which will take place on October 16. The tour will include a visit to the College but also features a ghost tour and s’mores for all to enjoy. On November 22 and December 6, the Admissions team will host the invitation-only academic scholarship competitions where new students can win a four-year scholarship worth an estimated $150,000. Incoming students must have applied to and be accepted by Thiel College as well as meet grade point average requirements in order to be eligible for the scholarship. Twilight Tours will be hosted on September 17 and October 22. The tours will also include admission to a sporting event held at the College that day.
High school students and their family members interested in learning more about Thiel from the perspectives of faculty members are invited to the Fall Open House on October 11 where a faculty panel will be held during the event. Thiel will also be hosting Open Saturday Visits on September 27, October 25, and November 8 to allow families to see the campus outside of the usual work week and attend a Thiel Tomcat football game.
