GREENVILLE, Pa.—Head Cheer and Dance Coach and Adjunct Professor Randall Burnett M.A.’22 has been named to the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Under 40 Distinguished Impact Awards list.
Burnett will be recognized by the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Greenville Area, Grove City, and Mercer chambers, in recognition of his accomplishments to better the community and their professional fields. The celebration will take place in Grove City, Pa., on May 29, 2025.
A dedicated educator, mentor, and coach, Burnett has consistently demonstrated commitment to student development, leadership, and community impact. Now entering his eighth year leading Thiel College’s cheer and dance programs, he has transformed the Tomcat spirit program into a nationally recognized powerhouse and a model of excellence in collegiate cheerleading.
Under his leadership, the program earned a national championship title at the 2023 National Cheer Association College Nationals. In addition, the team has achieved four top-three finishes at NCA College Nationals, secured a Regional Championship title, and built a reputation for a team culture rooted in discipline, high performance, and pride.
Burnett earned his bachelor’s degree in communication with a concentration in public relations and marketing from Clarion University in 2012. He later completed a master’s degree in communication and leadership from Thiel College in 2022.
