GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College announces Priscilla Ehrensberger ’26, of Ridgway, Pa., and Kylee Jordan ’26, of Orrville, Ohio, as its Student of the Month honorees for March.

The Student of the Month recognition is awarded to seniors and is among the College’s most prestigious student honors. Only six students receive the distinction each semester.

Ehrensberger is a 2022 graduate of Ridgway Area High School and is pursuing a degree in business administration with concentrations in marketing and advertising and a minor in coaching.

At Thiel, Ehrensberger has been an active member of the Tomcat community. She has been part of the Thiel College cheerleading program for four years and is co-captain for the 2025–26 season. In 2023, she was part of the Thiel cheerleading team that won a national championship.

In addition to her involvement with cheerleading, Ehrensberger has worked with Thiel Team—the College’s Office of Admissions student ambassadors--for four years and served as manager for the Thiel men’s soccer team during the 2025 season. Through cheerleading outreach efforts, she has participated in community activities including Little Scratchers youth programming, reading at the public library, and volunteering at Night to Shine, a prom-style event that celebrates individuals with special needs.

“My experience at Thiel has been nothing short of amazing,” Ehrensberger said. “During my time here, I have built lifelong connections and formed friendships that I know will last forever. Thiel has helped me grow not only academically, but also personally, shaping me into the person I am today.”

Ehrensberger recognized men’s soccer coach Zack Walters and cheer and dance coach Randall Burnett M.A.’22 for their mentorship and support.

“They challenge me to always strive for excellence, not just in cheerleading but in the classroom as well,” she said. “Beyond coaching, they have been my mentors, providing guidance, support, and encouragement through challenges and celebrating my successes along the way.”

Ehrensberger is the daughter of Adam and Kyriaka Ehrensberger, of St. Marys, Pa.

Jordan is a 2022 graduate of Waynedale High School and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in counseling psychology with a minor in coaching.

Jordan plans to attend Wingate University in North Carolina to pursue a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree. She hopes to work in travel therapy, combining her professional career with opportunities to serve communities while traveling.

At Thiel, Jordan has been involved in academic and athletic organizations. She is a member of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society, Tri Beta Biological Honor Society—where she serves as vice president—Psi Chi Psychological Honor Society, and the Chi Alpha Sigma Student-Athlete Honor Society. She also serves as a Thiel Learning Commons peer mentor supporting anatomy and exercise science students.

Jordan is a four-year member of the Thiel College varsity volleyball team and participates in Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership. She is also a coach for Western PA Power’s 16U girls volleyball team.

“Thiel supports community and personal growth with professional faculty who understand what it’s like to be a student juggling life,” Jordan said. “Despite being small, Thiel makes it possible to accomplish big dreams.”

Jordan recognized Associate Professor of Exercise Science Emily Erb, Ph.D. for her support and mentorship.

“Dr. Erb has been a true role model for me,” Jordan said. “Not only has she supported me in all my academic pursuits, but she has also been a wonderful addition to my support circle. I’m not sure I could have accomplished all that I have without her support.”

Jordan’s father and stepmother, Christopher and Elisha Jordan, reside in Orrville, Ohio. Her mother and stepfather, Jodee and Jason Canestraro, reside in New Alexandria, Pa.
