GREENVILLE, Pa.—Four members of the Thiel Tomcat Marching Pride will participate in the 77th Annual Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band Festival on March 14-16, 2025, hosted by Kutztown University.
Representing Thiel College are:
Mary K. Schneider, D.M.A., Professor of Conducting and Director of Bands at Eastern Michigan University, will conduct the event. Scheider has worked as a guest conductor and clinician, adjudicating at numerous festivals and events, and has been invited to direct bands such as the United States Air Force Band, Dallas Winds, and Concordia Santa Fe. Schneider is also a frequent guest conductor for regional and all-state honor bands in the United States.
The 77th Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band comprises 120 students from Pennsylvania colleges. The students will work with Schneider throughout the festival with a culminating performance at 2 p.m. March 16 in the Schaeffer Auditorium on the Kutztown University Campus located in Berks County, Pa.
