GREENVILLE, Pa.—First-year students in the class of Professor of Art and Curator of Art Sean McConnor, M.F.A. have selected images from Thiel College’s private collection to display in an exhibition in the Weyers-Sampson Gallery.
The students chose an artwork and then researched the artist and the artwork as part of the “Art and the Human Experience” class.
“The Art and the Human Experience” exhibition opens with a reception at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26. The works will be on display from September 26 to December 10.
The Weyers-Sampson Gallery in the Howard Miller Student Center at Thiel College regularly hosts exhibitions from professional artists and student work. The gallery is free and open to the public. Hours for the fall semester are noon to 4 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday and Thursday or by appointment. The Gallery will be closed Nov. 21-25.
