GREENVILLE, Pa.—The Thiel Players’ production of ‘She Kills Monsters’ by Qui Nguyen opens at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at the William A. Robinson Theater.

The play is directed by Director of Theatre J.K. Rogers, Ph.D. and assisted by Charlee May ’26. The play tells the story of Agnes Evans, a young woman grieving for her deceased sister, Tilly. The sisters were never close, but Agnes discovers a notebook containing a game scenario created by her sister, a well-known Dungeons & Dragons player. Choosing to play the game, Agnes comes to learn more about her sister than she ever knew. The play is recommended for those 13 and older and contains profanity, suggestive humor, and violence.

“I’m super excited, the show has a lot of fun aspects like fighting… it’s going to be a good show,” said sophomore English major Savanna Welch ’27, who plays Tilly in the show.

“It’s definitely been a lot of work going into it… it’s cool to see all of the hair and makeup team’s work come to life” sophomore political science and biology double major Emmalea Zummo ’27.

Additional showtimes are 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, as well as a slate of performances the following weekend, with showtimes at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24. Thiel students are admitted for free.
