Celebrating student research and scholarship at the annual Scholarship and Arts Symposium. No classes are held, and the entire campus community is encouraged to attend oral and poster presentations from students who have completed research projects during this academic year.


The Symposium will begin with opening remarks by President Traverso at 8:30 a.m. in Stamm Hall, followed by Student Performances*

There will be morning and afternoon presentation sessions in Stamm Hall (DHI Thesis Presentations), Pedas 125, and the Pedas Discovery Room (120). In addition, there will be Poster sessions held in the Pedas Common area.

The morning sessions will end by noon and will give everyone the opportunity for a lunch break**

The Keynote Address, given by Dr. Jay Donis, will be from 1:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Stamm Hall. His address is entitled “Why Research When AI Does It For Me?”

The afternoon sessions will begin at 1:30 p.m. with student performances in Stamm Hall following the Keynote Address. The Library Research & Writing awards begin at 3 p.m. in Stamm and will close out the Symposium.

Celebrate with your fellow classmate on their academic and artistic achievements.

There will be a very limited number of available printed copies available, so use of the QR code at the event is encouraged.
