First-Year Student Move-in Day

All Thiel College first-year students move into their dorm rooms and celebrate Welcome Weekend on campus! This program is designed to help you with the transition to college, to educate you about various on-campus opportunities, and to help you to begin forming lifelong friendships with your classmates.

Students participating in activities and athletic programs that have an August camp, will receive more specific move-in information from your respective coach or instructor.

Schedule of Events:

• 11:30 a.m. - Residential student check-in (William Passavant Center)
• 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. - Student laptop pickup (Academic Center), Lunch & Community Fair (Greenville Hall Lawn)
• 1 p.m. - Commuter student check-in (Howard Miller Student Center)
• 2 p.m. - Parents & Family Send-Off, Class of 2026 group photo (First-Year Quad)
• 2:30-6 p.m. - First SEMS Class & TC Empower (Academic Center classrooms)
• 6 p.m. - Dinner with SEMS Class (Greenville Hall Lawn)
• 7 p.m. - Commuter student reception (Academic Center) and residential student meetings (meet your Resident Assistant and other Residence Life staff in your Residence Hall)
• 9 p.m. - Class of 2026 Welcome Party (First-Year Quad)
