Dome Day!

Alumni Stadium

We are currently scheduled to begin assembly of the dome on Tuesday, November 19 at 8am and the work will continue throughout most of the day (weather permitting). Each fall our Facilities and Athletics Departments collaborate on the planning and implementation of this project, and they rely heavily on help from our student-athletes, faculty, staff, and other volunteers. We offer a very sincere thanks to all who have helped with this in the past.

If your work schedule allows it, please consider joining us at Alumni Stadium and helping us with this project. Even if you can only join us for an hour or two, that time and assistance would be greatly appreciated. This is a very big undertaking for the groups involved, and we can use all of the help we can get. It’s also a great opportunity to get out of the office and into the fresh air, and to work alongside many students and colleagues.

If you are able to join us, please be sure to dress appropriate for physical, outdoor work (gloves and tennis shoes are recommended). Please also encourage students or student groups who you work with to volunteer their time as well. Thank you so much for your consideration!
