A degree from Thiel College’s Department of Nutrition is the gateway to a meaningful career in health, wellness, and community impact. Here, students connect nutrition science to real-world application through small classes, hands-on learning, and close faculty mentorship.

Nutrition is the study of how food, nutrients, and lifestyle choices influence health, disease prevention, and overall well-being across the lifespan. At Thiel, students explore nutrition within biological, social, and cultural contexts—gaining the skills needed to translate evidence-based science into practical guidance for individuals and communities.

Located on Thiel’s welcoming 135-acre campus in Greenville, Pennsylvania, the Department of Nutrition offers a personalized learning environment with access to regional healthcare, wellness, and community organizations—providing valuable opportunities for experiential learning and professional development.
