With its focus on the relationships among brain function, cognitive processing and behavior, neuroscience is a truly interdisciplinary field, one that is ideal for studying in a liberal arts environment that promotes connections among disciplines.
The Neuroscience minor at Thiel explores some of the most intriguing questions about the brain, behavior, and science. Available to students with a primary interest in biology, psychology, or other related disciplines, and who are interested in an introduction to the neural substrates of both normal and abnormal patterns of behavior it provides excellent foundation for admission to graduate or professional programs, mainly for careers involving research, teaching, and medicine.
