About the program

The Business Administration major at Thiel College offers degrees in a variety of specialty tracks: advertising and marketing, finance, general, human resources management, graduate school, sports management and supply chain management. The program provides a broad understanding of the American business system and establishes a base for good citizenship in our democratic society, as well as teaches basic business principles and fundamental skills essential for success in either a large or small business.

Led by a team of experienced faculty, students will have hands-on opportunities working with business in the region to enhance their classroom experiences.

Major Features

  1. Understand the basic business management functions.
  2. Develop competency in data analysis techniques, including use of spreadsheets; and databases.
  3. Gain an understanding of the ethical dilemmas faced by business managers.
  4. Develop interpersonal skills and learn to be a valuable member of a team.
  5. Be prepared for entry-level employment in the field of business.
