As we just passed the midterm mark, it is good to reflect on how the beginning of the semester went! Move-in day was great, and I am so glad to be on campus! I'm now a junior and I am beginning to buckle down on my classes. As a double major, neuroscience and health systems, I have a busy schedule. The best advice I have ever been given about school is to make a planner and schedule out your days! This has really helped me prepare for college and stay organized with everything. The best way to do this is to collect all syllabi (these important documents are handed out at the beginning of the semester and include important information about the class, the professor’s expectations and, most importantly, a schedule of tests and assignments, and write down any due dates or assignments for quizzes, exams, projects, etc. There are also so many apps to download as a planner if you are not the physical copy type of person. I personally have a hard time writing things down in planners, but I will use my laptop in class to write down any important dates.
With this in mind, I have stayed organized and prepared for what can be stressful times, like midterms.
The best things to do are to stay caught up with homework/assignments and be diligent towards your studies.
