Thiel College’s Career Development Center hosting career tabling sessions throughout January

GREENVILLE, Pa.—The Career Development Center at Thiel College is hosting a number of career tabling sessions in the hallway of the Howard Miller Student Center throughout January.

Career tablings are designed for students, faculty and staff members, so that they can meet and greet employers from the local community and learn about the job and internship opportunities that each company has to offer. This semester, the sessions kicked off on Jan. 11 with Penn-Northwest Development Corporation, a leading economic development agency in Mercer County, that aims to retain and expand existing businesses, while also attracting new businesses to the area. The Executive Director of Penn-Northwest, Rod E. Wilt, is the Vice Chair of Thiel College’s Board of Trustees and is also a Thiel alumnus. Other tablings in early January included the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Mercy Health.

Upcoming tabling events:

The Career Development Center at Thiel is designed to be a place where students can find help with career and major exploration, learn about experiential learning opportunities, learn how to create professional documents (résumé/cover letter), explore graduate schools, build job search skills, and access other career related resources.
