GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Prospective undergraduate students who visit Thiel College throughout the summer or early fall are eligible for a visit grant if they enroll at Thiel for the fall 2024 academic year.
Two main admissions events are scheduled for the summer for undergraduate students. A Tomcat Tailgate for prospective student-athletes is at 9 a.m. July 17. Attendees will meet faculty and coaches, tour the Tomcat athletic facilities, and enjoy a tailgate-style cookout lunch. Thiel College supports 24 athletic teams—including the national champion cheer team—most of which compete at the NCAA Division III level. Another cookout event will take place on Aug. 8 and is open to all prospective students.
Daily visits and tours are also available throughout the summer for those who cannot attend either of the cookout visit days. Students can visit at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or 10 a.m. and noon on Fridays. Undergraduate students who attend any Office of Admission event or tour campus before Nov. 1 and subsequently enroll at Thiel will be awarded a $500 visit grant.
“Summer visits are a great opportunity for prospective students and their families to stroll our tree-lined pathways and tour the facilities to see all that Thiel has to offer,” Director of Admission Sonya Lapikas said. “Events during the summer are laid-back but still provide valuable insights into what life is like as a Tomcat. This is a great time to experience the personalized guidance that an active and connected Thiel community provides its students.”
