Thiel College participating in unique virtual college fair to recruit international students

GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College is hosting a virtual booth in a new international recruitment effort for the Office of Admission from now through October 5.

In a first-of-its-kind effort to recruit internationally for undergraduates, Thiel College is participating in the 2023 Global Study Fair. Event organizers anticipated more than 5,000 student visitors at the event which will run for 24 consecutive hours between Oct. 4 and 5. Half of the participants are expected to be from the Americas and the remaining half would come from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Oceania.

According to Director of Admissions Sonya Lapikas, student visitors have chatted with counselors, gotten information on scholarships and watched videos about Thiel.

Attendees can participate in live webinars and browse prestigious universities from around the world including the University of Texas, Boston University, University of Oxford, University of Sydney and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research.
