International students applying for admission to Thiel College must file a formal application with the Office of Admissions. In addition, applicants must provide all required documents (see list below). No application will be processed until all documents have been received. Please send all correspondence to the address listed on the below.
Once the applicant is admitted, a deposit in the amount of USD 150 will be requested to reserve a place for the student in the upcoming semester. Once the USD 150 deposit is received, the applicant will receive an official letter of acceptance accompanied by an I-20 (the form required to secure a United States visa), financial aid information, and a medical history form.
Complete the online Application for Admission. When you press the "Submit Application" button, your completed application will be forwarded to the Thiel College Office of Admissions. A copy of the information you provided will be forwarded to your email address. Please note the information in the Security section.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All forms should be filled out in English and typed, if possible. Every question should be answered as completely as possible. Any additional pages accompanying the application should be a A4 size (8.5 x 11 inches or about 21.5 by 28 cm). Please send:

Please affix a recent photograph in the appropriate place on the form.
- Certified copies of official transcripts for each institution
Transcripts not in English must be accompanied by a certified translated copy in English.
- Statement of purpose (500 words maximum)
In your own words, provide an essay describing your educational plans, career plans and intent to return.
- Two letters of reference
Letters
should include a thoughtful and realistic description regarding the candidate's strengths and weaknesses, his/her character, personality, intellectual ability, emotional stability, adaptability, and seriousness of purpose. These should be addressed to:

- English Proficiency
We require that you take either the TOEFL/SAT I/IELTS/ACT or STEP EIKEN and have the scores reported to us directly by recording Thiel's CEEB code when you take the exam. Thiel's CEEB code is 2910.
- Completed Financial Certification form
a.) Chartered accountant's/certified public accountant's statement of finances of the sponsor.
b.) Bank statement documenting opening and closing balances for each month (last 3 months)
c.) Affidavit of support for sponsor and/or
d.)
Bank loan agreement form
The United States Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) requires that a student demonstrate total financial resources to cover total costs of education, for a minimum of one academic year total expenses, before an application can be processed for admission or an I-20 student visa can be issued.

SAT or ACT Native English speaking students are encouraged to submit certified results of the test.
