Students in Dr. Doug Hazlett’s ECE 369 class visited The Butler Institute of American Art in March to learn how to integrate programming into their classes as future teachers. Retired kindergarten teacher and museum docent, Audra Neri, conducted a 1-hour program for the education majors.

In Prof. Karen Shaffer's business communications class, students create resumes, tailor cover letters, create LinkedIn profiles and start networking. They also create videos and podcasts, and practice the art of participating in a panel interview. Shaffer, M.B.A., said executives from beyond Thiel College are eager to participate in these mock panel interviews knowing it strengthens the student’s professional readiness and allows them insights into what students value as they enter the workforce.
