GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College has expanded the leadership role of Zack Walters, naming him Director of Soccer while he continues as head coach of the men’s soccer program and assumes leadership of the women’s program.
Walters, who was appointed interim head coach of the women’s program earlier this year, will oversee all aspects of Thiel’s soccer operations moving forward. The move comes as both programs continue efforts to build roster depth, strengthen recruiting and establish long-term competitive stability.
“We are excited to officially move Zack from interim head women’s soccer coach into the role of Director of Soccer and (both) head men’s and women’s soccer coach,” Director of Athletics Isaac Collins said. “We believe his vision, passion for student-athlete development and commitment to building both programs the right way make him an excellent fit to lead Thiel soccer moving forward.”
