GREENVILLE, Pa.—Madeleine White ’25, of Pittsburgh, a health system and neuroscience double major and member of the Dietrich Honors Institute, traveled to the University of Bristol in England to participate in their International Biomedical Sciences Research Summer School.
“This program has equipped me for a future in research and science education,” she said.
White is a 2021 Seton-LaSalle High School graduate. She said she plans to continue to travel and explore how other cultures perceive science.
White is a member of Active Minds, Circle K, Rotaract and Neuroscience clubs. She was a member of the sophomore honor society, Lambda Sigma.
White was recognized as a Thiel Team Member of the Month in December 2023. The Thiel Team comprises students employed by the Office of Admission. The students primarily serve as ambassadors for prospective students and their families, but they are also responsible for a variety of other jobs, including work on mailings, market research, telemarketing, event support, and other administrative, professional, and office duties.
