Senior neuroscience major Maggie Nee named the April Thiel Team member of the month

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Maggie Nee ’20, of Erie, Pa., was named the Office of Admission Thiel Team Member of the Month for April.

Nee is a senior neuroscience major with minors in chemistry, medical biology and biochemistry. She is a 2016 graduate of McDowell High School.​

Nee is a member of the Dietrich Honors Institute, the women’s soccer team, Neuroscience Club, Sailing Club, Alpha Xi Delta women’s fraternity, Pi Nu Epsilon music honor society and Lambda Sigma sophomore honor society. She was a resident assistant and Spanish tutor​  

“I love the family environment and the community. I love that the students get so much support from the professors and faculty,” Nee said about her Thiel College experience. “I really appreciated that even more as I’m graduating and figuring out my next step.”​

The Thiel Team comprises students employed by the Office of Admission. The students primarily serve as ambassadors for prospective students and their families, but they are also responsible for a variety of other jobs and including work on mailings, market research, telemarketing, event support and other administrative, professional and office duties.
