College employees honored for reaching service milestones

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thirty-two employees of Thiel College, a leading northwest Pennsylvania liberal arts college, were honored for completing service milestones recently.

The annual ceremony recognizes employees who have completed anniversaries in five-year increments starting with the fifth year. This year’s honorees represent more than 385 cumulative years of experience at the College.

Administrative Assistant of Faculty Services, Education Barbra Long-Cooper ’98, of Greenville, Pa., was recognized for reaching her 35th anniversary with the College and was this year’s longest-tenured honoree.

Administrative Assistant for the Vice President of Enrollment Management Tammy Shilling, of Greenville, Pa., was recognized for her 30th anniversary. Department Chair and Professor of Sociology Allan Hunchuk, Ph.D., of Sharon, Pa., Housekeeping Supervisor Kimberly Scobbie-Byler, of Greenville, Pa., and Groundskeeper Randy Coxson, of Greenville, Pa., were recognized for their 25-year tenures.
