20th anniversary of Soul Food Feast highlights Black History Month activities at Thiel College

GREENVILLE, Pa.—Thiel College and the Organization of Black Collegiates will be hosting a slate of cultural events for Black History through the end of February, including the 20th anniversary of one of the most popular annual events, the Soul Food Feast.

Featured events include:

A poetry reading by national slam poet Doreen Devine Block kicked off the events on Feb. 10.

The OBC was founded in December of 1968 with the mission to raise cultural awareness throughout campus. This organization is inclusive and is not specifically for African-American students. Anyone desiring to support diversity and learning about different cultures is welcome.
