The English Department of Thiel College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position for Fall 2014. We are seeking a candidate with specialization in composition to teach primarily introductory writing courses and enhance our writing track. Assigned workload is four courses per semester, with additional responsibilities in student advising and committee work. A Ph.D. and an appreciation for and commitment to small, private, liberal arts college education are required; prior college teaching experience is preferred. Rank and salary are based on qualifications.
