GREENVILLE, Pa.-- Thiel College announces Whitney Zunic has been appointed the director of regional recruitment in the greater Cleveland and northeast Ohio region. The new position is a result of the College’s strategy to raise its recruiting profile in the third-largest population center in the Great Lakes region.
Zunic is a 2008 graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College and worked in its Office of Admission for more than three years, where she focused on recruitment and social media. She also handled web design and content management for Baldwin-Wallace’s admission web page. For the past three years, she has been an account manager for a marketing firm that worked with national brands PUMA, Sherwin-Williams, AutoZone, Corner Bakery Cafe and KFC. Zunic also advises two college students through The Greater Cleveland College Now mentoring program.
“I’m thrilled to have Whitney join Thiel College as the director of regional recruitment. Her wonderful personality, competitive drive, and creativity will raise Thiel’s visibility in Ohio and other markets that are important for our continued enrollment success and growth,” Vice President of Enrollment Management Stephen Lazowski said. “She will be integral in spreading the message about the value and affordability of a Thiel education.”
