Thiel College is hosting the Fischoff Award-winning saxophone quartet Kodachrome as a part of the annual Con Spirito Chamber Music Concert Series at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. September 14 at David Johnson Memorial Chapel.
The 11 a.m. concert is a Common Hour presentation for first-year students.
The Fischoff Competition is the largest chamber music competition in the nation and its longest consecutively running competition. Each year, an average of 125 ensembles, representing 22 nationalities, enter either the wind or string categories. Since its founding, more than 6,800 musicians have participated, many of whom have gone on to distinguished careers in music performance and education.
New employee headshots will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 in the Rudisill Room of the Howard Miller Student Center.
New employees should make arrangements to attend this sitting. No reservations are necessary. Photos will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Any employee wishing to update their photo for web directory can also have retakes done that day.

Emily Ripple ’26 is a double major in psychology and philosophy with a minor in business administration and is also the Joining Generations Liaison.
She is soliciting ideas for collaboration with at St. Paul’s. It is a great way to help students create connections and learn valuable lessons, as well as get an opportunity for specific work experience with their respective career choices.

Senior accounting major Alex Martin ’24 is a captain with the Hempfield Township Volunteer Fire Department. He was one of 150 participants in the 9/11 Stair Walk on Sept. 11 at Alumni Stadium at Stoeber Field. He wore his full turnout gear during the walk.
