The Sigma Tau Delta induction ceremony, which honors students who meet the academic requirements for entrance into the English international honorary society, was held Sunday. Dr. Curt Thompson, the DHI Director and Professor of Religion, was the keynote speaker for the 15th anniversary of establishing a Chapter at Thiel: Alpha Iota Kappa. Along with the induction, the group also commemorated Dr. Jay Ward, Professor Emeritus of English, who died this summer and who was an instrumental member of the English department and Thiel faculty. The Phoenix, the annual literary magazine, was distributed to all attendees.

Employee Benefit and Wellness Fair
The annual Employee Benefit and Wellness Fair is March 17. Come and meet vendors and providers that offer some great benefits to Thiel College employees.
Campus departments are welcome to donate gift baskets. We are challenging those who participate to try to come up with the most creative gift basket. Let the competition begin!

Medical Epistemology Lecture

Dr. Erwin Montgomery, Greenville Neuromodulation Scholar in Neuroscience and Philosophy at Thiel College, will participate in a lecture on medical epistemology and a question-and-answer period.

Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Appreciation Week 21-Gun Salute Ceremony

The Xi-Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Sigma will be honor those who have served in our military, especially those who gave their life in service to our our country, with a special ceremony that will culminate with a 21-gun salute.

Four-person golf scramble to raise money for the scholarship funds open to the Undergraduate Chapter: The Sam Poole Balanced Man Scholarship, the Jake Benghauser Scholarship, the John Carron Scholarship and the Alumni Memorial Fund.
