GREENVILLE, Pa.—The 28th annual Kappa Sigma See-Saw-A-Thon to raise money for the local veterans begins at noon Friday, October 6, and will continue for 72 consecutive hours until noon Monday, October 9 on the lawn near the intersection of routes 18 and 58 in front of Thiel College’s Howard Miller Student Center.
New for this year, the funds collected by Kappa Sigma will be used for local veterans. The Reynolds VFW will coordinate with the Greenville and Jamestown VFWs to find local veterans to benefit from the collection.
For 28 years, the Xi Epsilon chapter of Kappa Sigma has been fundraising thousands of dollars riding the 25-foot-long metal see-saw during the yearly event. They will be collecting money at the intersection for local veterans. Students and members of the Thiel College community are welcome to ride the see-saw during the three-day event.
