GREENVILLE, Pa.—The Thiel College cheer team finished second Friday at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Nationals in Daytona, Fla.
Competing in the Open Spirit Rally category, the Tomcats scored a 92.8 Friday. Henderson University finished first.
Thiel was first in its category after Thursday's preliminary round (93.1). Eleven members of Thiel's team were competing on the national stage for the first time.
