TOMCAT WOMEN SNAP 21 GAME LOSING STREAK AGAINST W&J WITH 90-87 WIN
The women’s basketball shot 52.9 percent (18-34) from three-point range and 49.2 percent (32-65) from the floor in its 90-87 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) victory over Washington & Jefferson College Wednesday evening at Henry Memorial Center.  The Tomcats snapped a 21-game losing streak to the Presidents with the win.  Junior guard Amber Bodrick registered a game-high 34 points, connecting on 8-of-14 three-point attempts, to go along with eight rebounds. more

After trailing by as many as 23 points in the second half of Saturday's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest against Bethany College, the women's basketball team was able to trim the Bison lead to three late but eventually fell to the Bison by a final score of 80-75 at Beeghly Gymnasium. more

Catie SieberThe women's basketball squad started the 2008 portion of its schedule with a 68-62 victory at Juniata College Wednesday evening. Sparking the Tomcats' win was junior guard Catie Sieber, who finished with a career-high 18 points in 19 minutes of action. Sieber also added six rebounds and was 3-for-4 from three-point range. more

It is the fifth time in her career she has exceed the 30-point plateau in a single game. more

Junior guard Amber Bodrick totaled 24 points and a career-high 18 rebounds, with 12 points and 14 boards coming in the second period. more

2007-2008 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SEASON PREVIEW
The women’s basketball team enters the 2007-08 season having to replace four of its five starters from last year’s squad. The team has just one senior back and is looking to build around a nucleus of young players, which includes junior preseason honorable mention all-American selection Amber Bodrick.  The new look Tomcats are trying to build on their 8-17 record from last season. more
