Men's Soccer Coach
Andy Hoggarth
Andy Hoggarth is beginning his first season as the head
coach of the men's soccer program at Thiel.
Hoggarth, a native of Stockton on Tees, England, comes to Thiel
from Shenandoah University, where he spent the past two seasons
as an assistant with the men's program. He was named the associate
head coach prior to the 2006 season.
Hoggarth, a 2003 graduate of
Northumbria University in New Castle, England, earned a bachelors
of arts degree in sports science and recently completed his masters
degree in health and physical education at Shenandoah.
In England Hoggarth spent time
in the youth development program as a goalkeeper with professional
clubs Middlesbrough FC and Preston North End FC before playing
semi-professionally for a number of years. In 2001 he was a member
of the Whitley Bay FC that won the FA Vase. He currently holds
an English FA coaching certificate. |
