MEN'S TRACK & FIELD GAINS STEAM AS NATIONALS NEAR

The men's track and field team competed at the Allegheny Gator Invitational on Friday.  The men's team was team was led by sophomore Alex Eaton, who won 400-meter dash after running a school record time of 48.18. His time also moved him up to tenth on the provisional qualifying list for the NCAA Division III Championships. more

MEN FINISH SECOND AT 2008 PAC T&F CHAMPIONSHIPS
The men's outdoor track and field squad finished in second place with 205.5 total team points at Saturday's 2008 Presidents' Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Washington & Jefferson College. Junior Dorran Coley was named the PAC Men's Track MVP for the third-straight year, winning an unprecedented four individual titles. Freshman Josh Joneswas named the PAC Men's Field MVP after setting a new conference standard in the high jump (6-10.25). Head coach Clyde Morgan also earned PAC Men's Coach of the Year honors.more

COLEY NAMED PAC MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Junior Dorran Coley earned this week's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Track Athlete of the Week award Monday. Coley, who ran a winning and NCAA Division III automatic qualifying time of 14.41 in the 110-meter high hurdles at Baldwin-Wallace College's Sparky Adams Invitational on Saturday,. now owns the fastest in Division III this season. Coley also posted a third-place finish in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles (55.46). more

MEN COMPETE AT B-W'S SPARKY ADAMS INVITATIONAL;
COLEY GAINS AUTOMATIC QUALIFICATION IN 110-HURDLES
The men's outdoor track and field squad participated in Saturday's Paul "Sparky" Adams Invitational, hosted by Baldwin-Wallace College at George Finnie Stadium. Highlighting the performances of the Tomcat men this afternoon was junior Dorran Coley, who ran a winning and NCAA Division III automatic qualifying time of 14.41 in the 110-meter high hurdles. FRANKLIN TO ASSUME DUTIES AS HEAD TRACK AND FIELD COACH
Thiel announced Wednesday the promotion of Ricardo Franklin '02 to the position of head men's and women's track and field coach. Franklin will take over for Clyde Morgan '00, who has recently accepted the head men's track and field position at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind. more

MEN PLACE SECOND AT OWU MARV FRYE INVITATIONAL
Sophomore Alex Eaton posted wins in the 200-meter dash (22.22) and the 400-meter dash (49.44) and ran anchor on the winning 1,600-meter relay squad (3:19.85), helping the Tomcats to a second-place finish at Saturday's Marv Frye Invitational, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University. more
