Since 1972 the Psychology Department has sponsored a local chapter of Psi Chi, national student honorary in psychology. Membership is based on academic excellence and achievement in psychology. Our organization promotes speakers and activities which further the understanding of psychology as a profession. Students who are not academically eligible for membership are still encouraged to attend meetings and activities sponsored by Psi Chi.
