Pi Sigma Alpha members

A chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honorary society, is sponsored by the department so that excellence in the study of political science can be recognized. The Thiel College chapter, Iota Upsilon, prides itself on the goal of stimulating productive scholarship and intelligent interest in the subject of government.
Pi Sigma Alpha was founded in 1920 at the University of Texas. It is a national honor society for the undergraduate and graduate students of political science. Today, there are over 550 chapters across the nation. Pi Sigma Alpha is the only honor society for students of government in universities and colleges.
